Usually headset, depends what I'm playing. If I get in Vent or play on our Source servers I'll wear them every time.
 
i only use headphones when playing Arma2. speakers for other games.
 
Have a nice surround sound system hooked up so only use headphones when noise is an issue with others in house.
 
I use a headset most of the time, but if there's no one around and I'm not in vent, I occasionally use speakers.

I always play with headphones except for when we have guest, I play my games 100, 100 on outside speakers on about everything.

To get my "visitors" really, "ticked."
 
It depends. I have a nice Bose Compaion 5 surround sound system that is completely amazing and worth the 500 bucks I spent on it. I really only use headphones during events or when I need to speak in vent.
 
Headset, I need a headset all the time for communication/sound purposes. Worked great for World Of Warcraft. Now I play SW:TOR so it will be vital for upcomming pvp matches/raids ect..
 
Headphones, don't want to disturb others in the computer lab...
 
I do have turtle beach headset, but I just use it for Xbox, I'm rocking my speakers.
