No, but seriously, haven't switched from CS:S since joining and don't plan to.

from MOD division to FPS:X and now to OP:X division. if that counts. LOL

When I re-joined in July (maybe August), I joined the CS:S division hoping to connect with numerous old buddies. However, a surprising number of them had been banned, and the others had switched divisions or moved on into leadership. On top of that, I'd been playing the hell out of Bad Company 2, so I made the switch to the Battlefield division.

Story time!!

I originally joined eGO in September or October 2010 as a member of the CS:S Division. At that time, I was practically addicted to the game. I love the custom maps, mods, and the competitive scene for the game. I stayed in the division for a while after I received my first promotion. After about two or three months after, I started to get bored of CS:S and decided to play on our TF2 servers for a while.

When I first got TF2, which was two years before I joined eGO, I played it for a fair amount, but I really wanted CS:S at the time when I got TF2. After playing TF2 for a while, I was having a lot of fun with the game that I decided to switch over to the TF2 Division sometime around March-May 2011. Ever since I joined the Division, I haven't looked at switching to any other because TF2 just ended up being my kind of game.

TL;DR: Joined CS:S Division when I first was in eGO, got bored of the game, played TF2 for about a week, joined and stayed in TF2 Division

other-I had to quit TF2 div, due to my computer not being able to handle TF2. It would also take 10-15 minutes to join a server :/

Started in CS:S, never played - joined BC2, stayed with it into its transition to BF division and then joined OP:X.

well, i joined the community because eGO had THE only good zombie mod server back in the day, i was spending 12+ hours a day in the server and everyone knew me, back before the IP was changed and *cringe* the inclusion of classes, and finally the last nail in the coffin, making it zombie escape only, so after that i moved onto the jail server where i again became a regular fixure, same story 12+ hours a day, everyone knows me, great times. then slowly, everyone started to disappear. some leaving for other divisions, others leaving the clan, a few banned and those who suddenly stopped logging into steam (i still wonder why). it got to the point where there were nothing but kids in the jail server (i know im being silly saying there are anything but kids in jail, i know. but i remember playing with the greats, people like starscream and such) so between zombie mod dying, jail becoming a husk of its former self that only shows its history at 330 in the morning when the school children are sleeping, and me just getting tired.

i did something i thought id never do

i left

looking back it shouldnt have been a hard choice, i hated the division at the time, all my good friends had left, those still around had found new friends and alienated me, and every server i loved shriveled and died, it didnt really hold much appeal to me...

so i followed my friends to mod division, then fpsx then opx and everything was great

that is, until it started happening again

opx has dropped all the games i play, all my buddies are moving onto other divisions, or in some cases, other clans

sometimes i look back on my days in css and wonder if i made the right choice. i still pop in from time to time, its a little fun, but its never what it used to be.

now i find myself playing strats games, and i wonder if i should make the change, but then i stop and think-i dont really want the same thing happening again, and i dont want to be one of those examples of people who "always come back" to css

no i think ill take pride in being an opx misfit, not really having a home division, just sort of division hopping until my end with eGO

ok i think ive got the longest wall of text post here, do i win a medal?

A combination of moving to a different game, more friends in another division, and not really agreeing with certain aspects of another divison
