I figured I would make a thread about myself so yall know me a little bit better and to see where I'm coming from.

My name is Steven and I am a 21yr old college student. I am also in the Army reserves (thanks a little bit to bc2 rofl). First game that I played that really got me hooked into pc gaming was the orginal cs back years and years ago. Dod was the first game I played competitively (which was tons of fun). I played tons of runescape back in highschool (still got a lvl 132 that is getting all dusty). I love battlefield games, I played tons of BF2 and even more BC2 and a lot of combat arms as well. But im hooked on the BF3 so i dont think ill be going back to any of the older games. Only other games that i play currently are swtor (just bought today and it is installing as i type) and Mass effect 3 (when it comes out).

I wont be on bf3 a lot in the next week or two because i primary play on my desktop that is at my house, and I unofficially live with my girlfriend. but once i move it to where i am not i will start playing bf3 a lot. My laptop plays it on low with a TINY bit of lag (which is one of the reasons i just bought swtor).

Anyways It's nice to be part of such a big community. If you want to know anything else about me just PM me or something.

Welcome to the bau5f- rather, Battlefield division! Great to have you, Steven!

the only down side of getting vent is that i do most of my playing in places i cant really talk on it lol. like the student center at my school or my gf's bedroom. (i think it would be weird to her and her roommates if im chatting it up via vent).... but i deff will look into it. i got a built in mic on my laptop and a headset for my desktop

If anything, just throw on a decent pair of headphones and listen in. You don't necessarily have to talk.
