D-Day Before and After in Color

[Silent Drifter]

As you all know (or probably don't) I have a knack for looking up old and unique WWII photos. You might remember the WWII bunkers and the before/after photos I posted last year.

I found a new set of photos from around the time of D-Day on LIFE.com that have been remastered in color. They were posted last year so some of you might have already seen them. Anyways, here they are for your enjoyment!

[you dig?]

I have an amazing blog to share with you all from a guy who lives out in California who does WWII re-inactments on weekends. He definitely has a thing for the Germans during WWII and I'm right there with him, which is why I follow his posts! Check it out...
