Just wanted to let you guys know that I now have SWTOR and will be power leveling my chatacter(s) non stop since I don't have much more to do in my life :) hoping it doesn't involve a lot of grinding like WoW :/ just one question though, what's the quickest way to level? Questing or Dungeons I don't know what you call them in SWTOR.

The leveling is slower than WoW. Its nothing but grinding. I uninstalled it. :P

lol well the story lines of the whole level grinding are pretty neat at first. but it just gets repetitive to be honest. im just waiting for GW2 to come out.

Yea GW2 looks great to be honest, but I need something for now and SWTOR seem's like the way to go. I've also pre-ordered Diablo 3 :)

GW2 looks great but I hope it's not another 6 year wait for polished turd like most other MMO sequels. Don't get me wrong I have 2 maxed out GW accounts and I remember the empty promises in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & as of now 2012.
Really hope it's nothing like the Duke Nukem re-roll

well, i wouldnt exactly call it a grind fest compared to other mmo's i have played. great story line, and if you do not need someone holding youre hand to play, you will do great. most people i have seen that could hack it, usually use that cope out.

for leveling i would deff. just stick to the class quest and bang out some smaller ones on the way. when you do get bored, there are space quests that give you alot of xp and credits aka. in game money. then if that doesnt float youre boat try some pvp war zone. you can start tht once you lvl 10 or 11 whenever you get to leave starting planet" pretty sure". then even after that if you want to do a dungeon , there callled flashpoints. the flashpoints are fun, and there are benifits to doing them like armor and social points. but it isnt the fastest way to lvl in my opinion. class quest plus daily space quests and pvp wz, will be the fastes.

this game has alot ot offer, and there just keep improving it and adding stuff and the game hasnt even been out a year.

Alright awesome, just I want to play now and I know theirs a server maintenance but my SWTOR keep's crashing is it because of the maintenance?

I just tried logging in and it restarted my login client. Not sure if this is what's happening for you.

Also, when it was in beta, the first time you launched it you needed to wait a bit for the game to first load, maybe give it some time instead of closing it out? (If you are actually doing that.)

But as you said, swtor is doing maintenance, so that could be the only issue.

As for the grinding complaints... Either people complaining about the grind has never played any other MMO, if you played WoW, it's much more of a grind, almost no story.

SWTOR at least gives a bit of a back story to almost every quest you can do, there is dialogue you can listen to instead of some random text no one wants to read and you have very well done class quests. Like Bodayga said, you can level to 50 from 10 by doing pvp warzones. You can also do space quests and flashpoints. All things that can take you away from the day to day "grinding".

If you need an invite to the guild, pm leadership or anyone in the guild rank O. Easiest way is to hop on vent.

Remember we're on Port Nowhere!

bodayga said space quest that what I do with space ghost LOL J/K Bro

Alright cheers, the game keeps crashing after I press play and I saw an thread on another forum and it says to re-install the game launcher and just keep the files, it's like doing a repair.
It doesnt help that I'm capped and only downloading at 23KB/s but I'll get their. Currently on vent at the moment if you want to talk.

ill be on tonight if your problem still exist. but yeah vent wil lbe easiest way to hlep you.

Fastest way to level is to do your dailys' (PVP daily after level 10) and space mission dailys (around level 16-19 depending how you level) Do all quest, i usualy skip heroics because they take time to do and time to find a group to do them with.

I figured out the problem and it's all sorted now. I'm a level 6 Sith Warrior :) and having the best time playing an MMO in a long time.

Glad to hear you got it working! I would recommend not rushing through the story line to get to 50 ASAP, as the story lines are what make this game so unique and fun to play

Yea that's what I've been missing in an MMO, Also I think that's why I'm enjoying this game so much plus I want to get the most out of it :) I'm not in any rush anyway :)
