hmm nice, its the best map in tf2 and the only reason i sometimes play it, but realistically its gonne be hard to get full.
Main problem is quit easy: we're a big community in ego but we're split up in tonse off games, the available budget ego has to run servers gets distributed by the number off players that play on the server, not by the number off ego members (which is hard to impossible to track also considering a bunch off ego dudes including myself play several games).
During "downtime" a lot off servers go empty or less filled (which is normal) only a few servers in ego get a good amount off people overall (best exemple is the dust2 server in css) for the others => the majority they need to be "started up" by server fillers.
Those server fillers are us! the community.
But guess what; "Prime time" starts in all divisions around the same time, so when people are idling and filling up some tf2 servers others are doing it in cod or in battlefield,... in the end you get 20-30-... people wanted to start up a server in several games or even worse trying to start up 2 or more servers in the same game.
Point is we in ego have a budget which goes to running our servers, but because off our diversity we lack the playerbase in EUROPEAN/eastern timezone => those people start up the servers and there crucial. Those people are lacked in several divisions and as long as we dont get more recruits who can and are willing to start up servers divisions gonne have problems.
Think logical: if your a random pubber and you want to play on map "x" under conditions "y" you gonne check the server listening and majority will join a fuller server under his conditions.
Ow and also server idling may seem good, but if a random pubber joins a server whit 3 people idling then he's gonne in a sec cause he's fighting ghosts.
