A Fond Farewell.

I played with Francis all the time on Donner, even long before I was a member of eGO, a real class act. I real fine man and player, shame to hear that this happened.
 
Rest in peace Kelvin and my condolences to the Yu family. When the houses were still on Kelvin was one of the nicer people to play with. There was always competition between houses and he was always fun.
 
I'm shocked! will miss your voice on our servers. It has been fun to play with you. R.I.P You are the same age as me. I light a candle for you and your family.

To Francis , I played and watched you do some of the funniest things. Whether it was slamming a rocket into field and killed 5+ people to playing all freaking day. You are a true veteran. One that I will always recognize. I remember sticking up for you when people would put you down. Well I like to write poems so I am going to write one for you Francis (:

Even though your in a better place
I would rather see you slamming rockets in someone's face
Even though your gone
I know you didn't quit
From playing Day of defeat to killing with the c96
There was one fight everybody faced on Donner
It was your Panzerschreck
You had one fight to face which was cancer
If there was one thing I could renew
That one thing would be Francis Yu

I remember him back to my e days. He was always a friendly person to have on. always did what was good for the team not just himself. He was a hell of a rocketeer and a hell of a guy. Rest in peace man, Maybe we'll see you again one day on the other side
 
It's sad to see a great guy like Francis go. I've played with him for years now like most of you. He was one of the best rocketeers I've ever seen and he will be sorely missed. My most sincere condolences go to his family and friends.

I had hours upon hours of fun with Francis on Donner. It won't be the same without him. When sniping on Allies, I learned how to avoid Francis' rockets as best as possible, so he would somehow always find his way into the sniper house and shovel or broomhandle me. Great battles with a great friend. I will shovel a sniper in the Allied sniper house in his honor...

Wow... that's just quite the stunner.

Playing on Donner, even before I became an eGO member, Francis Yu was always a fun person to play with. I think just about everyone's said it all when it comes to his rocket skills and I'm gonna add to it and say, yeah, he knew what he was doing when it came to that weapon and that map. Definitely some great memories battling with him, hearing him complain about how Fenix was so mean in killing him, lol... And then becoming a member and admin later on, he was always nice in greeting and being a respectable admin on server.

My condolences goes out to the Yu family. Francis was a great character as a person, a gamer and an admin. You can see that with all the messages from his extended family here at Edgegamers.

Definitely... his presence and enthusiasm on the Donner server will be missed.

Donner always was my favorite map/server.
I can remember myself raging a lot when i got shot again by a rocket shot by reflexes you can't imagine.
There are no 2 guys like Francis and there never will be.
I hope he's in a better place now and wish my condoleances to the family.
 
Did not know him well, but still I am sad. I will pray for Francis and his family.
 
It was an honour and pleasure playing against and along side of you Francis Yu. You will be missed.
