3d?

Is there any way to make text like 3D? We've been doing a bunch of stuff on my sports show and no one can figure it out, whether using Photoshop, After Effects or any part of CS3. Any ideas?

It looks better, but I just tryed to make a quick effect. And the black was accidental, I can take it out, but is this what you mean?

yeah exactly, how do you do that?

Well, what I did is *very simple lol*.... create two exact text layers... and move the one with the lighter color above the one with the darker color to create the effect that it is 3d.. if you need a video tell me and ill make one for you.

you probably can also find a font that is already set in 3d

Yeh.. well I was just showing a simple little trick. I am sure that there is is a more advanced way, but I just haven't discovered it.

do the two layer thing, and drop shadow the one on the back... =) it looks veri nice
