WHO'S GONNA BE UP FOR THE RELEASE?! WOOOO! I'm requesting there be a Diablo 3 Channel at the top of vent, and anyone who is going to be on for the release, join about an hour early or so to talk and launch this game together! Yes there is. last 2 videos posted on diablo's website showed that their will be arena like servers open once the game is released.

Not like you need pvp anyways for the first month or two... You kinda have to level up a character during that time and learn the game... I'm sick of people complaining about no pvp, like they want to pvp at lvl 1... ahaha smh

im gonna get it but the reason they complain is...well what are you going to do when you're done the game?

Make another class? Ahaha it's not like PvP is coming out in three years, only gonna be a couple months max... And there is going to be so much figuring out of the game's style, like what are the best builds and all that craziness, by the time you know how to build a solid class, PvP comes rolling around!

The game is randomized for a reason and if Inferno is indeed as hard as jay wilson says it's going to take far longer to max gear(espacially for arena pvp) compared to diablo 2.

Arena pvp is a turn off because you can't hit the Hostile button and gank a lowly leveled/geared person right? :3

I guess my first post was missed. There will be an option to create servers instead of the usual storyline for people to join and fight against each other. It won't be right away, but they mentioned it will be out soon.

no, it means the game is dumbed down.
in D2 if i didn't like a person in my party...i would just kill him.
nothing wrong with killing low levels :laugh:.
its just gear. that's it. no making a unique character with its own stats, its just gear sets.

So we can't expect there to be options in a modern game? A modern game backed by a massive budget with developers that have no excuse to exclude a core feature?

For those of us who like PvP and don't take a million years to level up, launching a game without one of the series' best features is just Blizzard shooting themselves in the foot.

We can't PvP at level one, but it's not going to take 99% of PvPers 'the first month or two' to reach levels where they can actively PvP, so it's going to be a boring launch waiting for PvP to actually get added.

I'm not saying that there isn't anything else to do in the game besides murder other players, but it just seems kind of silly that they'd dumb the launch down like that, knowing how many people want PvP to at least be part of the game at launch.

^What he said. I'm not going to avoid playing the game or anything, but I am disappointed. Releasing games to meet a deadline when they're missing important features feels wrong, and so many developers/publishers/what have you do that nowadays.

I'm sure its not going to take months for pvp to come out. Just calm yourselves.

I'm perfectly calm, but that doesn't mean I'm not sorely disappointed that it isn't there to begin with.

Let's get something straight.

Ganking somebody because you don't like them is not PvP.

Pressing the hostile button because it makes you smile, giggle and feel big then killing people below your gear/level is not PvP.

I've done it and i was king of my region with my hammerdin and my lancer barb. It was fun for a time but it wasn't pvp and it wasn't fair for the people i killed and made angry.

Blizzard didn't dumb down this game pvp wise. They just made it more A-hole proof.

PvPers will get their arena pvp soon for more competitive pvp.

Casual players will not have to worry about getting ganked ever again.

Win-Win scenario for both parties.
