I'm a 'Rock/Metal kinda guy. But not the stuff that's around today. I'm talking about stuff from the 80's & into the mid 90's, a bit before my time lol. Even then I's break it down into what mood I'm in. If I'm on edge or angry, I'd play some Metallica or some other fast-paced band. If I'm sad or depressed or whatever, I put on some of their slower, more calm songs.

Technically, opera could fall into the category of "classical" but if I had to choose from just the options listed here, classical would be my vote.

Most forms of Industrial. If one doesn't know what that is the closest to it out of widely known popular bands is Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, or Robb Zombie. They're not exactly Industrial except maybe NIN but close enough to give people the right idea of what i actually listen to.
