Of all of the matches I've played today, only 2 have ended with a positive k/d. I kept making rookie mistakes, getting killed by tactics I normally blow through...make me feel better guys :(

TF2 is not about K/D Ratios. Its about doing the objective and how well you helped in doing the objective. Medic's would be complete trash players then.

Everyone makes mistakes, no ones perfect.

I'm Nik.

I know that, Nik. I am very much a team player. My personal goal, however, is to always maintain a positive k/d. I normally do so. Today, not so much. That's all.

Happens to me a lot now, but what Nik said.

Just get over it at some point. (Also don't play if you're not in the best mood unless it's some kind of hilarious mod.)

I don't think I remember even once going a positive KD (that could just mean I am bad) but I just play for fun.

I'm going through the same thing today. I look at it as I've been playing the game way too much lately and need to take a break. Probably why I've been sticking to the mod servers lately.

Taking a break from playing TF2 helps alot! I do that when I have had a day of bad game play.

Bad day today for me also, my aim was off, my timing was off....it happens.

I just played a few rounds of ctf 2fort, and was doing much better. The break helped a lot.

Sometimes you have to take the time and just think about what youre doing when k/d is off and you are doing worse than usual. Yesterday I was having a terrible time with valve maps spies, i went probably 18-12 or something like that. I took a deep breath, realized how i was constantly dying, and started taking advantage of the high ground, checking my back constantly, and not just rushing through the rounds anymore. That works for me.

Im vilson.

Welcome to the TF2 Division.

I'm gorgeous.

Get heavy call a medic and then you'll be positive

i have seen only 1 person, before this, who cares about their k/d, in tf2, and that is =(eG)= Tupperwere, so i dont think it is anything to worry about

and to nik saying, im nik, i think your lieing

Play another game that you fully enjoy, anything from Solitaire (wut?) to League of Legends or DOTA 2 or even Diablo. These games i enjoy taking a break to when I'm raging at TF2. Also, it helps if you have someone else on there to make you smile or laugh :D

Not in lobbys, assists count as kills to your Kd.
