Unable to sync files...

Anyone else getting this today when trying to start up TF2 or any other Steam cloud game? I can still play obviously, but not syncing is a pain when it comes to achievements/items dropping/etc. Seriously though, every single steam cloud-based game shows a ? partly overlapping the cloud icon and I can't find any reason why in the SPUF. No scheduled maintenance, no threads asking about it, nadda.

The only thing that's changed since last night on this system is that I installed the starter edition of Diablo 3, but I doubt that has jack to do with the problem...

The only other oddity for me was that when I logged in this afternoon my library list didn't have any favorites listed, just installed games.

Did you try restarting Steam? I had that problem a few weeks ago I restarted Steam and it worked fine.

Huh, I'd restarted it once before and it didn't do anything. But after closing it this time I looked at the processes running in the background and noticed an instance of it running still somehow, and killed it before logging back in.

Seems to have done the trick...
