I was wondering if someone could help with soldier. I have a problem with being able to airshot. It's not just that I can't shoot people when they are in the air, it's also because I can't launch them into the air, so I was wondering if someone could help me out so I don't suck so much XD

Air shotting is not that easy. But a good way to practice is by going onto an MGE server (someone will have to add the name of it) and fine the one that practices air shotting.

Waffle, you gotta just practice.

Otherwise, the Soldier basically is just "Shoot Feet, Get Kill."

Besides, airshotting's not important, it's just really nice if you can pull it off.

There is a lot more to playing soldier than most people think, it's not a simple shoot feet get kills class, rather a very precise class in the way of being able to evade damage while at the same time putting out damage, protecting your teammates, and positioning. Putting a close level of skill in these areas together makes up a soldier and allows you to become a dominant soldier in the servers.

Depends on what weapon setup you're using. I use the Direct Hit most of the time, because I prefer the increased damage and requirement to aim rather than counting on splash damage.

Also, airshots take practice and it depends on the rocket launcher. Direct Hit is easier to do in a way, because it travels faster. Seems the biggest thing that helped me is getting a feel for how fast the rockets travel. Then you can get an idea of how to aim.

Practice makes perfect.

Airshotting as solly is pretty easy imo, but nothing makes me feel better than airshotting a scoot as demo ;)
