Hello again, have a BIG problem. I need a lot of refined in a little amount of time(6 months, might not seem that little, but I need a LOT of scrap). So let me ask something of you coming from someone who is going to be P2P any day now, what tips can you give me to help me get a lot of refined weekly? Also for the project I am doing, it's a surprise all I can say is that It's going to be big, it's going to be a video, which is also going to be part of the charity drive that I'm doing. Trust me when I say that this is going to be BIG and have a huge deadline to meet before December, so really need your help by the way this charity thing when i say I'm doing it I mean I am part of it, not actually running it

There are several ways to make profit in TF2. Probably the fastest way for someone who doesn't have a lot to start with would be scrapbanking. Get people to sell you 2 weapons for a scrap, most people will do this if they don't have 2 weapons for the same class, but want to make them into scrap. Then sell those weapons for a scrap each, it can take a little time, as some weapons are more desirable than others, but in the end there is no way to lose here.

Second way is through craft hats. People will sell them for 1.11-1.33 ref each or 2 for a refined (i was buying them at 1.11 each for a while), then you sell them for spreadsheet value, usually 1.66 and above, or like I did, and just wait for someone to offer 1.33 each. I made and easy 2 scrap per hat that way.

Third cheapest way is key exchange, this one takes a while though. Buy keys for the low end (I buy them 2 for 5 ref) then sell them at the high end (I sell them at 2.66 each). Like I said, this one can take some time.

There are other ways, like getting good deals on unusuals, or cheap bills and what not, but it doesn't happen often so it doesn't make fast money.

Well scrap banking (like mithos said) is a good tactic, it just takes an extreme amount of time but if you get on every day for the entire day just to do that you can get to that goal no problem. But if you don't then you may just need to get lucky.
