Which gun is better: AK or M4

For some reason I always have better luck with the AK. I'm not sure if it's just in my head or what! AK all the way!

Both guns are good. It depends on how you use them. The AK has a higher recoil, but IMO it also has a higher damage. The M4 on the other hand, is easier to use for beginners. Its has less recoil. I can use both guns, but I prefer the AK over M4.

It's not just an opinion, the AK does vastly more damage than the m4, even 3 hit killing someone without armor compared to an m4s 4 hit kill, and 1 hit headshotted a foe with a helmet compared to an m4s 2 hit kill. The AK is the far better weapon if you can manage its recoil.

You can kill someone with one HS with the m4, with and without silencer. Depends where on the head you hit them and how far away you are.

For me it's m4 without silencer.

There is no area you can shoot someone with a m4 (silenced or not, the damage difference is minimal) that will 1 hit kill them from 100 if they have a helmet.

Also shooting different spots on the head don't do less or more damage, a headshot is a headshot and does the same amount of damage every single time. IMO the deagle is better than both.

Like RDK said, the AK deals more damage and will kill you dead with 1 bullet to the head.

Main advantage of the AK is it's damage. Pitted in a 1v1 with someone the AK user will most likely prevail given similar skill levels. Your odds decrease in 1v2 and 1v3 situations due to it's high recoil and terrible trajectories while moving.

Main advantages of the M4 is it's recoil. It's more tamed than the AK, giving you a better chance in 1v2 and 1v3 situations depending on your skill.

That all being said, it doesn't matter which gun you're using as long as you're taking advantage of the situation. I say this a lot, I have terrible aim and my reflexes are slowing down, but that doesn't matter. I don't have to be a better shot than you, I just have to be smarter than you.
