Black Mesa wont more ratings than before. Obviously, if the TF2 Division really wanted it, it would have gotten better ratings. It will most likely stay Doomsday for a while, and if it continues getting extremely low ratings, then it will probably changed to a map rotation for a certain game mode.
I understand that there are the group of people who want Black Mesa back. I don't like it myself, but I understand the reasoning on why you guys like it. The thing is, even though its just a donated server, the map was not doing that well. Its rank barely shot up in the three months we had the map on the server. Doomsday is currently on since we had a feeling that since it was a new map on a new game mode w/ achievements, we thought that it would shoot up in rank and servers for a while. That isn't the case currently, but its rank did go up over some time, even though it is in the same state as Mesa.
You may see Mesa back soon if there is more demand for it, since it is a donated server.
Okay first off, please don't speak for me. Second I do not want it back because it was getting stale and a bit boring.
So, around 85% of the TF2 Division doesn't like Black Mesa then with that statement, right?

I want something new that we have never tried before. Whether it is a modded TF2 mode, a map that isn't overplayed, or something. I need something fresh.

if you guys wanted mesa so bad then why would i sit in it trying to fill it, and not one person who is saying "bring back mesa" joined and helped me fill???????? and what makes you guys think that now after it being taken away twice, what makes you think it will fill now, it will go up, be active for a bit, then die, and it will get taken down, but really, why is it that when it is gone everyone wants to play on it????

less than 40% that voted want mesa back, that means more than 60% dont want it back. I dont really like the doomsday map, but that doesnt mean it wont ramp up eventually. look at the dustbowl server, when BM was replaced the first time, everyone was like "OMG LUKE GAIS!! TEH DUSBOL SEVER IS LKE DOIN RLLY BAD CUZ KNOW WON LICKS IT LOLZZZ".
But that was just the first month, now look at the server. Doomsday might be the same way, give it a little time before we call it a fail. BM was back for like 3 or 4 months before it was cut the second time.

Out of 38 votes:
BM: 39.47%
Harvest: 21.05%
DD: 15.79%
Other: 13.16%
Arena: 10.53%
Now, if this vote actually went through BM is the winner with DD in 3rd leaving 44.74% of the voters wanting anything else other than mesa or doom.
Heck, since mesa is taboo now a days Harvest would be the next logical choice if we were going by the numbers.

I wasn't insinuating that any specific server was wanted more than BM, what I was saying is that less people want BM back than want something other than BM. If DD goes away, it wont bother me, I don't like the map, I'm just saying not to discount it before it gets a chance.
As stated, 40% want BM, 60% do not want BM.
To end this thread, Mesa is removed due to the fact of its inactivity. You guys who supported Mesa wanted it, but you couldn't even have it filled. This same issue has been talked about in the past.
