Fragmenting the community

I hope this won't get closed. It's not another bring back Black Mesa thread.

As you might know I'm one of the biggest supporters of Black Mesa... it's what drove me into eGO and before that I didn't really believe I'd become friends with people I play games with.

That said. I think it's better to drop the Mesa subject, at least for a while. Seeing a community fragmenting as eGO has lately is sad, it's normal as in any community, association, club, clan, guild, etc. But it's still sad. I know eGO will stand no matter who leaves but it still kind of sucks. And talking about it will only cause more disagreements.

Some of my friends left to another clan, so now when I want to play with my friends I find myself wondering... whose servers should I join. In the end I spend most of the time I'm alone on my own server just learning to rocket jump... it's sad but it's true.

I really enjoy when I see some of you guys in my server, bear in mind I'm not advertising it. All I want to say is there is a place for people who like the map, please join us sometime.

We still are hosting daily events for you guys to come to. I know I've seen you at a couple of them Rofl. They are a lot of fun and, just to cheer you guys up, we will be hosting Black Mesa nights! We do know that there are those groups of people who do love the map, so those events are for you guys to come out and play on the map that is dearest to you guys.

Honestly, doomsday isnt terribly bad. Why not have doomsday and blackmesa put on rotation?

I don't know how many times I have said this! Get a server together with a 1 hour rotation of blackmesa, doomsday, and any other map that isn't at all times popular and have a constant rotation of maps. :facewall:
