eGO hate

The people who hate are usually the people who have had trouble with eGO in the past, such as being in the clan but being kicked out, or being banned, or just don't like our servers. There are people out there though who respect eGO for what it is, as I've encountered that a few times.

Haha, but really.. eGO is a Huge community spanning over twenty thousand people. you are bound to get haters. and like the above poster said, people for whatever reason, especially young kids, feel this huge need to swear every other word. and eGO does not allow that. which i think is pretty awesome! the people who do like eGO see it, for what it is, a huge extremely friendly gaming community

A lot of people dislike eGO due to the fact that they had some issues within TF2. They could have been banned or kicked from the servers multiple times from the servers cause they had been "Trouble makers".

Most people who don't enjoy edgegamers is because of their policy of no cursing or something like that. Or they have been ex-eGO members trying to make us look bad. Or they could just be extremely jealous of us because we are extremely popular.
Sadly, a lot of people now a days can't handle being told how to act, or what they can't do...so they hate on it.
Jealousy is the extra hops in my bitter beer.

I think its been pretty much covered, but people dont like some of our rules, id say mainly the no cursing rule, and the fact that eGO is so good at enforcing their rules leaves people angry when they get in trouble for it.
and seeing as how a large amount of people on the internet like to swear, it leaves a big group of people who dont like eGO

When I play on TF2, I usually try to play on a server without admins (although I prefer playing on Valve Maps). I think it's best to have at least one admin on a server, but it's not always possible. We may have more admins on one server, but that's cause they want to play on that server. Admins like to have fun, too.
If you ever need an admin, keep some admins in your friends list so you can quickly send them a message. Or hop on Ventrilo and look for an admin in the TF2 channels.

Thanks for the advice! I just have one question. Are admins able to kick/ban players on server they're not currently on?
No. The only ones who would be able to do that are leadership members, I think.
