recommend some DS games for me

[stewie574]

awhile ago, i made a post about getting a 3DS. i ended up getting one, though not for the expected $100 (the man never responded, so i got one from a video game store for $120).

anyway, i got ocarina of time 3D with my purchase, but i already beat it. so now i ask you guys: can you recommend some DS games i should get? i'm open for suggestions!

Only DS, not 3DS games?
The World Ends With You.

As for 3DS games...
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Maybe Resident Evil: Revelations

The only DS game I ever purchased was Planet Puzzle League. Its rather hard to find in some areas, but well worth getting if you're into puzzle games. Its a different twist on Tetris, but far more addictive. Also, if you know of fellow DS gamers in the area, feel free to challenge them to a battle (the battle is actually rather addictive). I miss the days when I used to battle 1 of my friends on the game. Sometimes she would win, sometimes I would. If you can get it from Gamestop, its less than $10 used. However, like I said, its a real hard to find game.

Pokemon Conquest
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - 3DS
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart 7

It kind of depends on your gaming preferences, but here are the ones I've got that I know are good:

*Dragon Quest 9
*Metroid Prime Pinball (don't knock it until you've tried it, it's actually pretty fun if you like pinball)
*New Super Mario Bros.
*Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (and yes for those curious, I got the limited edition feather stylus with it, and the golden DS w/ Triforce emblem)
*Chrono Trigger
*Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
*Sonic Colors (isn't bad, but HORRIBLY short)
*Picross 3D

And if you like punishing your fingers, Metroid Prime: Hunters. Be warned though, the control schemes they have for it are really bad...

thanks for the input! since i'm going on a long car ride, what i my do is get either super mario 3D land or mario kart 7. either that or do the master quest on ocarina of time.

also, is nintendo working on porting all of the gba/gb/gbc games to the virtual download, or just a select few?
