Your ping is too high!

Just curious what everyone's thoughts are on high pings? -
As far as a player with say, +250ms and how it affects your game play.

There are many times when there are a few people on the server with consistent latency times of 400ms or more - this morning being one of those days.

As I'm sure you know there are options to auto kick people with a ping higher than you specify.

For the most part I only play on Italy.

Im a person with 250+ ms ping but if there are ping limit then i won't be able to play.

Some people can play with a ping of 500, but sometimes it can lag the server / that player. I think a healthy ping is anything under 100. That's normally what i can play on and that's what I see the server bouncing below.

I have 180 ping, and It affects me badly ! When I play in a server with <100, I actually get kills.

I suggested a euro server to be added, and leadership said they will consider it... I hope..

I play with around 140-170, don't lag at all unless someone in my house torrents.

One players ping does not affect someone else. It also does not affect the server.

You may see them skipping around but on their screen they see everyone skipping around.

We never had ping limits and we never will.

For some reason though my ping is threw the rough this morning, and this hasn't happened before.

We never had ping limits and we never will.

And this is the another reason I came to join eGO. I loved the fact they didn't have a ping limit.

Mine is usually around 60-70 and I've played on other servers where it goes up to 180 and I do see a huge difference. I'm glad eGO doesn't have a ping limit which allows a lot more people to come together and play

I normally play with a ping around 100. However, to my understanding, we have more than just a few players connecting from outside of North America, so I think an auto-kick plugin would be more detrimental for eGO servers than beneficial.

We don't discriminate against overseas players who might have a high ping.
