stop asking about me nerds
Alright, how I did it was I used the Sydney Sleeper for a week. Anyone who I've did 1 on 1's with about sniping I told them to use it for a little bit until you got a feel for movements. The thing with the Sleeper is that you can only do bodyshots with the weapon, but its a good thing to use at fist in order to get a feel for others movements. Once you're able to hit a nice portion of your shots with it, move over to the base Sniper and try to apply what you've learned from the Sleeper into the stock Rifle and try to aim for the head when you can. Another thing that is nice to do is to play on tr_walkway for half an hour. I do that when I plan on playing a class that has hitscan based weapons for a match. What the bots will do on default on that map is that they will move in a straight line. You do have the option to get them to strafe, but that's for later. Do it like babysteps: first, follow one class and see if your sensitivity is too high or too low. You know that it is good if you can follow 10 classes in a row and keep your crosshair on them. After that, try to scope in with the sniper and try to follow their heads. Don't feel discouraged if you can't keep it on them all the time, just keep trying it. Then, if you feel like you want more practice in that area, try to enable strafing on that map and see if you can deal with them moving erratically. The most important thing to know is that practice makes perfect. Sniper is the class that has the highest skill cap, so if you want to get better with him, play him like no other.
