been gone out with my friend to race for fun, but my boat is really fastest, but my boat ESC ( electric speed controller ) got Fried from long full straight continuous run
at full throttle. (Over powered battery)

so my boat halted and look like fishing line winded up on the boat but I noticed my boat vented massive white smoke so I know it's the ESC blown.

but checked nothng got stuck on prop, so I figured the water line got plugged up to prevent from cooling the ESC.

once it burnt, this smells reeks ! it like melted computer, melted speaker from too much power, when it happens, my boat turned in to smoke grenade.

because I went with my friend for a boat race for fun because we went to a Perfectly flat, mirror-like flat surface on water so boat can cruise safer than having risk by jumping and rollover... flat is perfect but I held on full trottle for 60 sec it Hydroplaning nearly Fly ! after that I slow down for turn around that where it caught fire and burned

as u see the wood got charred black in square shape that where ESC was -_-

*yeah that how hot it was lol -_- *

here the pic below gonna spend 80.00 for Esc -_-

I've had some Speed Controller catch fire in my RC cars. always scares the crap out of me every time then I remember it's like a $30 fix most of the time.

The problem is that your boat is not in the water. They tend to work better on water.

You, my friend, have obviously never seen the rare flying boat of Peru. 'tis a sight to behold.

Boats on batteries? I always thought rc boats were gas.

yes there are Gas powered, and electric .... this boat runs by 11.1V 5000mAh 3S 35 C Li-po battery, and I have clocked this boat at 55.71 mph on water.

ths boat has 3200Kv Brushless motor, it can go faster than Gas, but depend in your Esc, motor and battery.

I will make record, movie of it next time :)

Obviously .... been on water.... -_-

ew god, clean and cut your nails for the world's sake. They just look bad.

lol nails got dirty due to clean out the damage in my rc boat, after that I always wash my hands because the ESC has toxic chemical from blown capacitors.

"you will always gets dirty anyway, you cant be Perfect clean all the times "

dude you're nails are a good inch, inch and a half long lol.

lol my nails grow in great shape, I always left very little nails over. so can work on my Rc that has very small screws ... so I need nails to put screw in place sometimes tools cant -_-

but of course it get trimmed regularly, but not too far in -_-

Yeah, it looks in very bad condition. You don't have a speed controller in a boat? I think 3200Kv Brushless motor is really need a good speed controller and afterall it depends on ESC and battery. Because a small leak can sink a great ship.
