Team Fortress 3?

Valve is putting the current iteration of the Source engine that TF2 uses to its knees. It's just a matter of time before they do something about it. There are constant issues server-side whenever a major update comes out and it really feels like that they are just making workarounds for things until they finally decide to break.

And no, there won't be Team Fortress 3, just like there won't ever be World of Warcraft 2.

I could see a new TF2 coming out with a new engine

I'd love to see TF2 run on a more stable, newer engine.

there wont be a third if not for awhile tf2 has a big scene right now and is actually pretty healthy. the comp scene is fading away without sponsors but valve is still making money off of tf2 and there are actually more players now than there ever has been i would say no and if they did make a third it might be disappointing they did tf2 pretty well

ya, but I think Team Fortress 2 Episode one will be here VERY soon XD but all seriousness just realized something. Team fortress 1 and 2 were about these two brothers fighting. Don't know what classic is about, i'll look that up later. But with them dead don't know how they are going to make a third one.
