I can change a tire... but I probably wouldn't. I have this awesome service where I call the number of my dealership and they'll do anything next to rebuild the engine roadside. I'm mechanically declined, truth be told.

I've done just about everything you can do with a vehicle except rebuild a Transmission. I've rebuilt multiple dirt bikes,3 wheelers,4 wheelers,go-carts, a sand rail, & at least 4 Jeeps. BTW nice bike,I'm jealous...I gave up riding bikes when I had kids :crying:

This bike brings out the Cromagnum in me; chest thumping, poo flinging, grab the woman and throw her over my shoulders...

By day, I'm a mild mannered software engineer; sitting in my design meetings explaining to scrubs how to do things.

On the weekends, I enjoy ridding this bike. It stops being a motorcycle. It turns into some sort of demon-spawn monster.

You can hear it yelling from a mile away. Old ladies cower in fear, thinking it's the Apocalypse and one of the four horseman. Young women start to throw undergarments at you (and some men also!).

All of the above, plus even more. The only real thing I've never done is weld.

Cars are actually my only real hobby. I have a lot of interests but as for taking up time and money... well, that's cars. Video games don't count, lol.

My dad has always been a car guy, so that's where I got it. I love working on them and I love, love, love driving.

My first car was a 1989 IROC/Z Camaro a couple months before I turned 16. I still have it and I know every inch of that car, up, under, and in. About a year and a half ago I took out the old engine, did more cleaning, mending, replacing, and painting then I can mention, and put in a brand new 350 Chevy crate motor, with other modifications, of course. A long with everything I had done with the car, it's practically new. These days it needs paint and a top, but everything else is pretty much new or remanufactured.

And, just got this this past Monday, I personally bought my first real 'new' car, a 2011 Mitsu Evolution X. I've been driving it to work this week and I'm still on a natural high from it. It's so different than any car I've owned, worked on, or driven, but I love it. Trying to expand my horizons.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I like to share. Here's a pic of both my cars. I wish the Camaro's paint looked like the Evo's, lol.

I have had my hands on all of the listed as well as construction of mechanical systems in commercial/government buildings (nice view in the skeleton of a building in the city 20 some floors up) from breaking ground to finishing construction of the building, oh and I have built little teeny houses too. Here is one house we did, HGTV was filming this build 1.5mill home, one of my most memorable job sites.

I build Hot Rods for a living.. One of my own cars a 1970 Camaro Ive cut the rear quarter panels off, To make new one off rear fenders to fit 15 in of tire. I didint want to tub the car and set the tires in the body IMO makes the car too unstable.
This car is a drag car putting out around 900HP and is set up for 400Hp shot of nos...Havint had the marbles to use nos on her yet:drool:

My dad is the mechanically inclined person that always did things for me and I helped him a lot as a kid. I tried to get into it and I've done my own oil changes, spark plugs, filters, etc. As I grew up, it became a matter of available time, as I had none because of work, family, hobbies, etc. So, "what is my time worth" question came into play, and ended up taking my car in for things I couldn't ever do, or things I needed someone to do for me because I didn't have the time.

Well, so far I seem to know a fair bit. Haven't blown anything up yet at least. I'd be upset if I didn't though. Paid them a lot of money to go through school lol. My focus was on big stuff though. Studied Auto-Diesel Technology with Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
