Sorry for the late response guys, it was a very close race but we have finally figured out who the MVP is. Without further ado, congratulations goes out to:

Moist Towelette

Contact Chuck Norris to redeem your Steam Prize of your choice! Please do so within the next two weeks.

Also want to give an honorable mention to SilentDrifter85, he also did an amazing job and was really close to surpassing Moist for the MVP.

Thanks again everyone! We have learned a lot from this event and plan to improve things for the next one.

Congrats Moist, I was starting to rage a little in the finals when I would run into your rocket countless times. :)

Wow! I'm really surprised by this! I had no idea it would be me. Thank you very much but it was totally a team effort. Thanks to my teammates for 3 really fun matches. No way I could have done it without their excellent play. Thanks Meg for picking me for your team. :)

I would like to donate my winnings back to eGO if possible. I will contact Chuck about it later.

Thanks again! I really do appreciate it.

Congrats Moist and great job! A pleasure being on the same team!!

Well deserved Moist! As an MG I didn't have a chance against your damn rocket!

Alright, it has been a few weeks since the tournament took place, its now time to hear feedback about the tournament. I am keeping this in here so that I get only people who participated in its input.

What did you like, what didn't you like? What should we change?
Before everyone starts off with the the team forfeit issues, I know this one was a major one and no one is more upset then myself, who spent all this time organizing and setting this up to not get to play one scrim. Next tournament we hope to have a better solution to this issue so that it does not happen. We are already working on that.

Did you think the scoring and gameplay were good? Maps? I think the next one we will do over the course of a few weeks, so that leadership is not so crammed up for an entire weekend trying to set this up.

So whats your guys thoughts? Please be constructive in here.

Over all it went well. The only major issue was getting people to show up, too many forfeits. I suggest more players on each team to help correct this. And 50 lashes for those who dont show up;)

Also, rules, point system and playoffs/choosing winning team need to be determined and explained more clearly. I agree with spreading it out, and most matches should be in evening. Otherwise great job Anni and Boyle, looking forward to next one:)

I wasn't a fan of the time slots. Having most of the scrims during the middle of the day (esp on weekends) probably contributed to many people not being able to make it to the scrim... hence the large number of forfeits.

I am just seconding what you said anni, the forfeits were ridiculous. I think if you can't be committed for majority of your matches, don't sign up. It's not fair to everyone else that is willing to be there.

I liked that, like the realism campaign, this tournament gave me a chance to get to know some of our members a little better. I really liked the choice of maps, very even tournament style maps. I think the rules and requirements could have been explained to some members a bit better and I know most of this was on the Team Captains part but maybe some kind of tournament-wide meeting could have cleared everything up? Overall this was an awesome event and I can't wait for the next one!

Was very pleased that I got to play my scrims, because they were awesome! Did seem like after someone got a cap or two that the whole game is over though, because of the 50s for capping out, made ticks a little useless, but I guess that's something I'll have to get used to.

Overall though, the only real problem was getting the people to the games, once it got going, it was really fun. Really appreciate the time you guys put into this!
