Quick Question: Untradable Metal

If I smelt two untradable weapons together, is the resulting scrap metal also untradable? Thanks!

Yep, you won't be able to trade the scrap metal then. Same if it's one untradable weapon and a craftable weapon.

imo id craft a dirft hat to get rid of the metal sense its pratically useless in tradeing i used my dirty refined to help craft my horeless headless headtaker

Yeah I've got some untradable weapons from achievements that I don't know what to do with. I'd rather equip my vintages and stranges, so I guess I'll make them into a hat or something.

Yah, that's really unfortunate considering that you can't really trade the scrap or weapon for anything afterwards

What REALLY sucks is that when you craft it into rec and ref then decide to break it apart for trading purposes, all the resulting metal is also untradable, even if there was only one untradable wep in the whole ref. What I ended up doing is using the ones I wanted, then getting enough metal to make an untradable hat. Not much else you can do with those.
