This is my first new thread, so if it's in the wrong place or wrong topic, move or delete as needed... That being said...
I am curious as to what others would change in DoD-S. What would be your top two changes???
I like realism, so my first change would be more wound speed, slowness after a hit, whatever you want to call it. If you get hit for 95 damage, you should be on the ground crawling and not hopping down the street. I know that you do have some speed drop as you are wounded, but I want more. You should not be able to walk or jump after 75 damage.
Second change would be stagger upon hit. If the model receives a hit, it should stagger backwards if possible. I'm not talking about concussion or shell shock, but a real step back, aim goes way off, stagger effect. A high enough hit, should knock you to the ground.
So what would you change?
PS - if anyone is in Austin this weekend, I'm throwing heavy stuff at the Austin Celtic Festival. Come by and say hello... I compete in the Scottish Heavy Athletics -- here's a link to see what we do.. http://scottishheavyathletics.com/
