Machina is the only actually-over-powered item on this list.

EDIT-
Now that I've read the discussion, I'll actually respond. WALL OF TEXT, GO!

FaN- Is very good at doing what it was designed to do: Quickly assassinate light classes. Its tradeoff is its ineffectiveness against larger enemies. It's not op as a weapon, just very powerful against the light classes.

Enforcer- Since its nerf, it's fine.

Alright. Pomson. Now that the shots don't penetrate, I really don't see what the fuss is all about with this weapon. If you're a medic getting shot by/losing uber to a pomson engy, there's something wrong with you/your team, not the engy weapon. The pomson DOES NOT deal the same damage at range that it does at point blank, just to clear that up. And if you're taking enough hits at point blank to cost you any good chunk of Cloak or Uber, you're probably about to die to the damage anyways. The endless ammo argument is kind of pointless. I mean, when was the last time you ran out of ammo as an engy with any gun (besides widowmaker...)? It offers the trade-off of utility against two of the engy's worst matchups, at the cost of damage, further damage against buildings, and clip size.
tl:dr- When the pomson penetrated, it was op. Now it isn't.

Sydney Sleeper shouldn't even be on this list. It's annoying, but if you're going to be a bodyshot hero, you're 100% better off using...

The Machina. The only gun on this list I consider to be overpowered. It's a handicap to less skilled snipers that rewards body shots like no other rifle does. A fully charged body shot with the Machina not only kills light classes like the sniper does, but also mediums. Dealing between 147-199 damage, that's nearly always going to one-shot a medic, has the (statistically likely) potential to one-shot pyros and demos, and at max damage will leave a soldier with 1 hp. To sum that up, THE VAST MAJORITY OF FULLY CHARGED BODY SHOTS WILL INSTANTLY KILL SEVEN OUT OF NINE CLASSES AT ANY DISTANCE. With long-range tactics inherent to the sniper as well as the relatively short amount of time it takes to reach a charge makes this way too powerful. AND THEN THEY GAVE IT PENETRATING POWER. WITH NO DAMAGE REDUCTION FOR MULTIPLE ENEMIES. I mean, really? It needed ANOTHER way to be good?

Black Box is fine. Heal is just the right amount to balance the clip reduction. If you've just taken three rocket hits, then the soldier having 45 more hp isn't too big of a point. And if you're trying to close range damage-race a soldier, doesn't matter what gun he has if he knows how to land his hits.

I hate the Backburner more than the common man, but it's not op. I don't see a problem with encouraging W+M1 pyros, because that's how the pyro was designed to be played. The original flamethrower had no airblast. W-m1'ing plus a little shotgun work was all the pyro had. They might be annoying, but a weapon that supports w+m1ing isn't op just because you don't like w+m1ing. Unless you honestly believe that w+m1 pyros as a whole are op, in which case you're silly.

Ambassador is fine. General nerf for a buff that rewards skill, but still has a cap on it? Same deal with the Bazaar Bargain. The game needs more weapons like this.

Phlog: See Backburner explanation. Srsly. I rate phlog and Backburner on the same power level. Actually, I lied, I rank the Backburner higher.

Ullapool: Just no.

nicely summed up on all of this. i voted for pomson over the machina, but i must confess that i am somewhat biased- as a sniper, i rely on my ability to quickshot far more often than my rifle's charge, so i don't really see the machina as a serious threat. Basically, for the machina to be OP it needs to be fully charged, which takes time- by the time an enemy sniper fully charges his machina i've probably already killed him.

and unless the sniper is corner sniping or taking potshots, he's pretty easy to dodge. plus, the machina is the loudest rifle by far, which means if he misses you on the first shot, he's already given himself away.
