Now then, today is all about giving the most donations to Backpack. Before any of you try to get clever:

- A crate only counts as 1/4 of a normal item. If you aren't willing to pay, you bear the consequences when you play.

- Every refined metal counts as one normal item. Every reclaimed metal counts as 1/3 of a normal item, and indeed, every scrap metal counts as 1/9 of a normal item. Reducing all your metal to an indivisible unit won't win you more points.

If any of you don't know where to find the eGO Backpack account, you can add me on Steam and find Backpack among my friends. Be cool, be wild, and be charitable! Oh, and one other thing...

For twelve straight days starting on December 25, there will be daily mini-competitions to win little prizes. In order to win a stocking stuffer of your own, simply be the one who fulfills the task of that day!

Oh, you might ask what the prizes are, but doesn't that defeat the spirit of Christmas? It's supposed to be a surprise! (I promise it won't be a new pair of socks)

I bet you're now eager to find out what your twelve labors are. Here they are:​

December 26: most ???

December 29: winner of the Class vs. Class
December 30: most kills with the ???
December 31: ??? on ??? ???

What? Some of them have been redacted? It looks like they won't be revealed until the day they become the new competition. Of course, I suppose a clever person could always guess what they are and reveal them early, but that just seems like so much work...

But wait, there's more! Just because I like you, I've varied the nature of the competitions. That means that competitive TF2 players stand to excel on some days, but if you aren't the sort who plays TF2 intensely and meticulously counts GameME points like they define your very being, there are other days that have nothing to do with competitive play! This could be the best deal you've gotten since finding out the world didn't end!​

*An ancient custom celebrated by telling Kazoo she is short. Traditional dishes served on this holiday include celery and seahorse pie. "You Make My Dreams Come True" is a customary hymn.

Sorry but as a newbie to eGO, I'm totally lost on this (can't image I'm the only one but then again ...)
Backpack what back pack, who's backpack??
While this all might be old hat to the eGO vets a 'lil more detail on how these types of things work would be helpful to those like me :confused1: :huh:
 
Backpack is the repository account for many of the superfluous items that leaders do not hold onto themselves. Although Backpack is used for safekeeping, it is very friendly. If you want to look at Backpack's Steam profile, it can be found at http://steamcommunity.com/id/eGOBackpack/

In order to win the first day's prize, you must befriend Backpack on Steam and give it the most items before Christmas Day ends.
