Tf2 is the most fussy game ever

So I've tried playing on two different computers over 3 days and both have different issues with the game. One closes right when i open it and one wont validate the files correctly. I love the game but why does it have to have so many problems all the time?

And because Valve, problems are likely to get fixed in several years.

Ya, it could be something one valves end but it could also be something on your end. Have you made sure and update your game to the latest update. If so and it still doesn't work try validating your cache files and see if that will work.

I've validated files and defraged files as much as they can, I've reinstalled both steam and tf2 a multitude of times to no avail. I've also updated it, just played counter strike so I know its the game not steam

TF2 reminds me of the days of Windows 95 when getting games to run was often an adventure.

I rarely have any trouble with TF2 on Mc, but recently it has been wanting to validate cache files before launching and taking about 10 times longer than if I initiated the verification. Usually I just leave it there and it eventually verifies, but it can take so long…

Also-----hl2.exe has stopped working
