Too bad that now it is far more efficient to just use a gun that doesn't take half its mag to kill someone, and that's assuming every shot lands.

I think that cs:go is just as good a game as cs:s and the main reason people don't like it is because they only trialled it when it first came out and was all broken like. I know when cs:go first came out I rarely played it, but ith each new update i played again and found myself playing for longer durations each time.

Pre-ordered it, installed it, played it and uninstalled it within a week. I didnt like the feel of the game and it was very choppy. After many updates i re-installed the game and have found a new love for the classic competitive matches. Very fun and fast and can always get into a pug. The pub servers are few and far between and are hardly ever full. I play CS:S for my pub time.

I used 2 play cs:s a little bit and dod. Alot now i almost only play go and i suck at playing it right now i am only lvl 3 silver. cs:s is way more forgiving when it comes 2 shooting and spraying when you get those lucky headshots. The game has massive potential espeicially on the competetive scene. Although i think it will destroy pub servers. Since everyone is upsessed with theire ranks. But hey that might just be. That that it is still fairlye new and everyone wants 2c how high they can get.

Here is my TLDR shakedown:

CS:GO by far is a better game than CS:S.

Our members were not exposed to the full potential of CS:GO, so they still prefer CS:S.

CS:S is all we focus on and all we have been focusing on, so it would seem the majority of eGO players would prefer CS:S rather than CS:GO.

With this bias in mind, it is next to impossible to convince or convert many CS:S players to CS:GO players. No matter what server we get.

I sadly have to agree with you.

People played it 1-2 times and already gave it up. I did that, too. But after a while I gave it another shot. And now I'm hooked to the 5on5-classic competetive. It is a really good system and imo more people should try it out.

If you guys care about the competetive scene, you should definetly move to cs:go.
the CS:S competetive scene is pretty much dead.

I hope there will be a casual server, maybe dust2, the setup is like our setup on CSS dust 24/7, I'm checking on other server and people tend to go on casual dust2 more than any map. This may attract players to come and play to our server.
