Let us get some of the other changes in place, then hopefully it will look better.

Out of context it is odd looking.. I totally agree with you.
It's like looking at just the tail-lights of a car... until you see it with the rest of the car.. it might look weird.
Maybe you'll give it a chance after a few more changes are made

I agree with Mush. I think the logo should change, but not the text, however my opinion isn't as valued. I haven't been a part of eGO long enough to have a personal preference.
