Do you like the new eGO look?

Someone requested a poll. So do you guys like the new logo? Or do you prefer the one before?

Its ok , but the eGO image is important so i think we should have a vote on the new logo. Its not bad, but its to sudden. It feels like i am being forced to like this image.

The old eGO Crest looked better in my opinion.
The new one looks a little cartoonish perhaps. Not really to my liking but again, just my opinion. It's like it came from that old game 'Yuri's Revenge' or something (if I were to compare it to anything at all).

The thing I really miss is the Laurel that used to be around the old logo's for veteran and advisor's made me really want to achieve that , these not so much.

I still have a chart of the "old old design" somewhere, I'll look for it and post it.

I'm sorry to say it, but this is bad graphic design.

I get that it's meant to look edgy and mimic the tread so many logos and brands are following.

Here's why it's a poor choice.

1. Visually cluttered.
2. Distracting. The old designs had soft edges and circles. This one's got the star points, and the saturated colors.
3. The font is unprofessional and has sharp edges, not to mention the fact that it seems to be in italics for no real reason.
4. I hate the font. This is the same as number three but it's my main issue with the design.
5. Others have pointed out the "cartoony" feel to it. This doesn't make it bad, it just means it needs to work. This design doesn't work for me.

haha leadership may hate me but I thought this was an April fool's joke but I realized it was barely January so im like "crap its forreals." In all honesty, I've been here for almost 3 years and the original, nice, creative, smooth, polished, well done logo has been the best. I dont even know why leadership changed it, I have to be honest: It looks really bad and unprofessional, maybe I should dropbox this.

I love the new layout as I previously said. The individual ranks are a ton cooler now (IMO) and they arent so bland/boring looking. Althought everything has sharp edges to it I thing it would be nice to have softer edges. A rounded star instead of a pointy and to make it looks nice.

Nah. It was more of a badge. This one looks completely different. As the last one was a solid form of a picture this one seems more broken up and spread apart.

I like the change, voted yes. I especially like the logo change, gave us e's a big upgrade in the way it looks.
