Not sure if i posted in right spot. I did try to post in "non steam" games.. didnt work.. any way. I play a lot of WarZ with a few friends... total 4 at the most. so if you want to do a run or need help.. let me know.. PM me a friend request on steam and add WarZ help.. so i know its not just a radom player. I dont like to kill other players but i do what it take to help the group stay alive. RR

Buddy, let me give you a small tip of advice. I dunno since the updates, but if you bought that game when it first came out, you got RIPPED OFF! Let me explain. Better, let me show you someone that can explain better.

Lousy company; horrible TOS; buggy gameplay, lots of hackers and griefers, crappy visuals. This game takes the Freemium concept to a whole new level; you may spend up to $30 on a character outfitting him out. You jump in the game and immediately get killed by a PK. Guess what; all those clothes, guns, misc. that you just bought? Unless you can loot your body (not likely because of getting killed by PKs), all that stuff you bought is GONE. It DOES NOT transfer to a new character; it is not refundable, and you just got ripped a new one.

How anyone can try defending this POS game for being such a ripoff is beyond me.

He said he is already playing it. He was asking if anyone else played it. I personally wouldn't but these comments have nothing to do with what he is asking. If he enjoys playing the game then let him enjoy himself.

Lets make a list of the controversies around warZ shall we?
- Claims DayZ stole their ideas, the truth however is quite the opposite
- Copied League of legends TOS
- Blackmailing their costomers with payment black listing if they are given a refund
- Hammerpoint's CEO made some highly offensive posts on their forums
- Banning people at random from both the forums and the game for voicing their oppinion on the game
- The game is obviosly in ALPHA mode, yet Hammerpoint presents the game as the finished product
- Abusive forum admins
- Hammerpoint staff abuses their admin privileges to spawn items to themselves and their friends
- Attempts to remove all the negative publicity regarding the game
- Microtransaction system
- Attempts to blame all the game's flaws on one of their subsidiaries
- Misinforming steam description, trailer and screenshots


In my honest oppinion i feel sympathy for those who were ripped of and i hope hammerpoint goes bankrupt within the year for all their wrong doings

Normally i would try to stay neutral, in this case however its impossible not to be bias no matter how much you try

Played the game for a while. Reasons not to play: There are plenty of ESP's out there that are readily available and there is no hack detection for them whatsoever. The game is plagued with hackers left and right, the clipping and graphics are atrocious and make game-play miserable, the zombie combat and melee combat are all around broken, thousands of dollars of paid items have been duped rendering the in game economy worthless, and the developers at Hammerpoint interactive are scumbags who ripped off thousands of innocent gamers by pushing an alpha version onto steam with undelivered features. I recommend you play Day Z and leave the War Z to rot.

Hey River Ratt, I do not play this game but I just wanted to stop by and say don't forget to use that search button before making new threads! In this case another member, Outlaw66 made a thread exactly like yours a few days ago.

Unfortunately it went the same direction as this thread, but at least you could coordinate with him and the two of you could have some fun. It sounds like he has a group similar to yours and in a game like that I'm sure the more people you have working together the better the experience.

hey River, add me on steam if your up to play. i play usually right after a patch for about 24 hours. that way it is fun without hackers lol. BUT NOW YOU CAN HAVE YOUR OWN SERVER AND HAVE A PASSWORD! So i have been thinking of starting my own server for loot before the strongholds come out in another year or so.

ps. i love how noone has played since ANY of the updates and still read threads from months ago. Try the game!
