just a little advice

Ok so im building a new computer again... now normally when i do a new build i buy a new hard drive and start from scratch. This time im tryin to avoid that. Now heres my question, if i am going to use the same hard drive i have should i wipe it(dont want to do that as to avoid having to reinstall everything) or should i just build my new pc and hook the hard drive up to it and let windows(7 Pro) handle everything. I'm just jnot sure how i should handle it. Any tips are welcome my eGO brothas.

Wipe it and do a clean install of windows. Clears out any errors that could happen.

While you might not have to do a clean wipe, since it's a new rig your putting it in I would strongly suggest doing a fresh install.
In the long run it's likely to actually save you time & headaches.

ok so whats the easiest way to wipe and reformat my hd... like i said i usually just buy a new one but this time i would rather spend that 100 bucks elsewhere.. and by easiest i actually mean best

Yes. Reformat the hard drive because, A) You will have to do a completely new drivers for everything new you are getting... AKA the drivers could conflict with eachother.

i use a program called DBAN to wipe my drives for fresh installs. its a free program you can download

Indeed, that's the way to go, no need to mess with anything else. Just reformat the HD. Easy as ...
