For all the reason already mentioned about a real made from trees book, I have another to add. After finishing a good book, you can hand it to a friend to read and enjoy. And then another. And so on.

Another reason, no license restrictions about who retains ownership. I've recently received a large collection of great books from a family member that passed away. Can't do that with e-books.

I don't have a preference. My iPod, computer for ebooks, and then a normal paperback book is fine. I probably wouldn't mind a tablet, but I don't current own one, and I don't see it happening in the near future. Maybe some day, but I wouldn't discount it as an option.

I'm old school. A good book is an old friend. It has it's own feel, it's own scent, and every time you revisit it, it's a little more used, a little more loved. I read on my kindle app for convenience....but a physical book is an experience.

I'm currently reading Prey by Michael Crichton. I've said it before, but I wouldn't mind getting a nook or tablet, but only if I could transfer the books to it via USB
