Get it right. Hardback or paperback! Not hardbook or paperbook... Ugh!

For all the reason already mentioned about a real made from trees book, I have another to add. After finishing a good book, you can hand it to a friend to read and enjoy. And then another. And so on.

Another reason, no license restrictions about who retains ownership. I've recently received a large collection of great books from a family member that passed away. Can't do that with e-books.

"Do you want to know the law? The ancient concepts in their own language? Learn the intent of the men who wrote them? From Moses to the Tribunal of Alpha III? Books."

I don't have a preference. My iPod, computer for ebooks, and then a normal paperback book is fine. I probably wouldn't mind a tablet, but I don't current own one, and I don't see it happening in the near future. Maybe some day, but I wouldn't discount it as an option.

I'm old school. A good book is an old friend. It has it's own feel, it's own scent, and every time you revisit it, it's a little more used, a little more loved. I read on my kindle app for convenience....but a physical book is an experience.

PC and books.

I'm currently reading Prey by Michael Crichton. I've said it before, but I wouldn't mind getting a nook or tablet, but only if I could transfer the books to it via USB :p
