DayZ is now on steam

This means it is now easier to play DayZ. I have not downloaded DayZ from steam, but if im correct all you need to do is just launch it through steam instead of doing 6 updater or launcher. However i do not know if you can transfer the files over. You may have to uninstall DayZ from your computer if you want it to work on steam, otherwise you might have a chance of file conflicting where you will have 2 DayZ mods installed on your comp taking room up and it may corrupt your game and not have it work.

P.S this is not the stand alone version.

Im unsure of how its a bad mod with the massive player base that flocked to it... Realisticly. Its the same thing with WarZ. Sure its a bad game to us but the people who actually play it might enjoy it more then the other ones. If you have an issue with the game you shouldnt go around posting "bad game is bad" and just replying with the quote of that, saying "2nd."

It doesnt contribute to anything, really. ( And that was a blunt post. )

To add to this, DayZ was in the very early stages of ALPHA when it got popular and is still very buggy, where as WarZ was being sold as a completed product on steam.

Taviana is DayZ...

So far out of Namalsk, Chernarus, Lingor, Takistan, Utes, Pathera and uh some other map I don't care enough to remember the name, playing Taviana is the reason I play DayZ.

I need to make a Steam shortcut that launches DayZ but shows Im in Taviana @_@
