I played World of Tanks for about a month and then lost interest. Great game, but I got bored. Got into the closed beta for World of Warplanes, didn't care for it one way or the other. Waiting for more on World of Warships.

Honestly though, War Thunder is blowing World of Warplanes out of the water right now, in my humble opinion. The finished product will give all 3 a run for their money if done right.

I tried World of Tanks after I went on a few battleships in California and got free gold, didn't like the balance of the game.
Recently got into War Thunder though, if anything, War Thunder should be added to the OP:X supported games list.

I would definitely like to get a squad going over voice comms in War Thunder, right now it's two friends and I. I can only imagine an entire team in a ventrilo channel.

They added the "flight" system (Platoons to planes) in the 3.3 update. So it is possible to platoon with someone now.

I just started playing War Thunder yesterday and I am currently using a joystick. You would think a joystick would be great for a flight-sim game right!?
ERRR WRONG! It is nearly impossible to get a consistent aim whenever you do a strafe run on ground units and almost impossible to keep a steady aim on the tiny circle it shows as a "cheat sheet" to aim for a hit/kill on a plane going about 420 km/h and that's in the "Tier 1" planes, now imagine planes moving double that speed or the Mig (what I'm going for) which moves at 1k+ km/h.....

HOWEVER, I believe maneuverability with a Joystick can't be matched by a mouse/keyboard. From my experiences of being raged at multiple times on how I got away by doing almost impossible stunts or complimented on my skills

I guess it comes down to Aim or Maneuverability.
Aim - Mouse/Keyboard
Maneuverability - Joystick

I'm going to stick with my Joystick for now and hopefully I can get the aiming down and be a true ace
