I was playing on Avalanche earlier when 2 guys got on and started just practicing jumping around in the spawn area. They were practicing exploiting geometry I should say. One was an =e= and the other was from some other guild. Basically the =e= member was teaching the non-E how to exploit geometry. (I'm not naming names as I want this to focus more on overall behavior expectations than on me being a rat.)
First it was 2 guys and a couple of us players complained and were told to not worry about it. 2 guys could help us out a lot as we were down a couple of flags and we needed all the help we could get but whatever.
Then a 3rd guy started doing it. When a player asked one of the EGO admins to warn them or kick them or something he was told they weren't doing anything wrong and that anyone was welcome to play however they wanted. What? Really? Not playing the game and just practicing exploits is considered not doing anything wrong on EGO servers now? Really really?
I think me and most people that play on EGO servers do so because this type of mess isn't tolerated. EGO servers are known by anyone that knows as the best DoD:S servers around. High quality admins, fast hardware, and low pings. Does it get any better than that? No it doesn't.
And yet here was an EGO level admin saying it was OK to just screw around. I realize that =EGO= level player's word is law and I respect that but when it seems that their word is completely contrary to spirit of what EGO stands for I have to question it. I just don't want the eGO servers to go the way the rest of the DoD:S servers on the net have gone - down the toilet.
