Support is one of my most played classes and I would like to know a few general tips that can help me improve (better accuracy with the Assault Rifle for example)

When i play support i generally crouch a lot to improve my accuracy. Burst fire is your friend. Learning to switch to single shot at opportune times quickly can help you be even more efficient as a killing machine at distance.

For support class:
1) Burst fire is your best hope for accuracy.2-3 three bullets per shoot/trigger is the preferred configuration/range.
2) Use support class mostly in smaller areas like houses, sewers and/or short alleys to avoid going against snipers or experienced riflemen.

1) Try to hit the chest because the kick back of bursting the gun will throw the last two bullets to the head area.
2) Crouch before opening fire.
3) Go prone in a area if you are gona hold it for a short time and then move up with team mates. (Meg does not like me because I do that)
4) Only spray in close combat
5) Use single fire if you are gonna try to pick people off at a distance.

Switch to single-fire if you are in a safe location and are shooting enemy from far away. When you are in close quaters do not crouch but spray it like an assault weapon. Otherwise keep it on auto mode and alternate between single burst shots or automatic shooting from a crouch position. My preference is to use more burst/single shots on auto mode because it is faster since I do not need to crouch and hence makes me safer overall. I crouch and auto shoot when I feel like I am safe to spend a bit of extra time auto shooting. Also, sometimes avoiding enemies is the best strategy. If you see someone across the map and you do not have time to single switch and fire I suggest to fire a few rounds from auto mode, if you do not kill the guy just run away because otherwise you give away your location.
