Hey, just your average everyday fangs here. I was wondering, how does one go about getting into competitive play? Better yet, is there a checklist of things I should have before seriously considering it, I was hoping to do Highlander Pyro or Medic.
I know time invested into classes is important, and how much TF2 you've actually played matters too. I'm currently at 820 hours of TF2, 110+ on Pyro, 72 on Medic. I'm not sure if that's good or not, but from the small amount of what I've seen of competitive, people like to see 1000+ hours of TF2 and a good chunk of that time in the class you want to actually play.
I think I read somewhere that edge-gamers has a competitive team, can't remember, do they do training for interested folk?
