Alright, first week in the division and I have a new project. There's a big movie making contest coming up that I want to enter. In order to do that I need demos. So what I need you guys to do is send me lots and lots of demos of you guys killing things. I want this frag movie to be about the Edge-Gamers community (you guys). Also please don't take the videos on my channel as a measure of my skill. I've learned a lot about movie making in the past 3 months, and I think I can do a lot better than the stuff on my channel. I want this movie to be about 3, 4, or 5 minutes, so I need lots demos.
HOW TO RECORD DEMOS
1.) Open console (~ key)
2.) Type "record demonamehere"
3.) Kill things
4.) Type "stop"
HOW TO PLAY DEMOS
1.) Open console (~ key)
2.) Type "demoui2" or "demoui" I find demoui2 better for watching
3.) Click "Load..."
5.) The file should be in your CS:S directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\counter-strike source\cstrike"
When you have your demo file, rename it something like "name_coolthingyoudid_map_tick.dem"
Do it should look like this "D3RP_deagle4k_de_dust2_20000.dem"
The tick is the part of the demo where the cool thing you did happened. You can find this in the demo player.
After put your demos together in a zip file, upload them to a file sharing site, and PM me the link. Hopefully I will get lots of demos, and you guys will become famous! Plus you get to tell people you're in a frag movie.
