Server Filling BF3

I noticed last night that our servers sat empty for the most the night, I know that EA was having problems which hindered them.

I will be trying to fill servers for most the night tonight, please join me if you can.

It seems to affect the entire battlefield community, people says they can't game for more then 5 minutes before getting disconnected from the servers. A lot of players have expressed their
anger for this. Lately the battlelog forums litterary has been flooded with threads filled with unplesantries directed at EA games..

Apparently is was DDOS attack from angry hacker's who had got banned. I read this some where in reddit

To those of you who feel that we're not doing enough, we've been handling these DDoS (and RDDoS) attacks for longer than you guys have been seeing the issues, unfortunately as with all of these sort of attacks, it's a constant cat and mouse game, and it's extremely expensive and time consuming on our side to mitigate. We (and our hosts) are in constant 24/7 Red Alert mode trying to handle the problem and find who is responsible. It's not easy, it takes a LOT of manpower, and it is unbelievably expensive with all the hardware we have to run to attempt to keep services working as best as they can when being utterly flooded by the attacker(s).

We didn't release a statement earlier because we thought we were close to getting a lid on it, but due to the continued renewed attacks, we felt it was necessary to break the silence.

Also for those of you who think that this is because of the BF4 release, we have no plans to cut support for BF3 (or MoH:W) as long as there are players wanting to play the game. If you don't believe me, then just have a look at how you can still play our previous Battlefield games even today.

It seems it's allmost back up again.. We are currently able to join servers. Unsure about how stabile it is

Lately? You must not check it often. It is always flooded with anti-EA threads.

Define a 'random dude'?

Some of these 'random dudes' can take down whatever they want, I'd say they're doing pretty well considering this could be a huge group DDOSing them, and we're still able to join servers at times.

From the years I have been watching and learning how these " H@#$ers " do there stuff is still mind blowing. If they want to crash something, they will. Just like the PlayStation Network was revamped not to long ago because of a threat from H@$#ers.
Even through all of there dumbness, I still find the time to try and Help our servers stay Punk Free!

I read that on IGN a couple of weeks ago. Now they also have all the rights to the Star Wars franchise as far as the games go. Makes me want to cry.
