My SSD on my PC decided to fail on me. First time I ever had a hard drive crash. Ill be on here and there till I get my replacement from Corsair. I have my mac in the mean time and limited to the games I can play. So far, Minecraft and CSS is all my macbook can handle.

Ill be back soon, already sent in my RMA, and I live 15 minutes away from the Corsair HQ / RMA center. Gonna see if I can go drop it off and get my replacement faster.

I know the feeling. Mine died completely a few months back as I was about to start making a bf3 montage. Luckily a new hard drive is all I needed with a reformat. Good luck on a quick fix
 
Ironically, I got a BSOD the first time I was typing this -.-

If you don't really need your Mac, you could take the HDD out of it and put it in your desktop til you get your SSD back.

I spent $1400 on it last year...not about to bust it up for a HDD...lol

The replacement will be here shortly.

I got my front I/O replacement from corsair the same day they sent me a email saying it was shipped.

Sorry I didn't think that through before I said it, I forgot Macs were so horribly built that you can't simply take out a hard drive :facewall:
 
Minecraft and CSS? Both worst games ever!
Better go out there and try out the real world.
Has no crashes.

Wait? you only have SSD in your computer?
Its good have HDD and SDD as HDD can serve as backup and they last longer than SSD.

^ This. And their is software that allows them to work together, using one as system caching for faster read/write speeds off the SSD, and can extend the life of it using the software.
 
I have a total of 4 HHD's in my PC, including the SSD.

I would use one of the others, but as soon as my SSD gets here, Im going to have to erase the OS on one of those drives and reinstall on my SSD.

I sent out my SSD today and they will receive it tomorrow, thats how close the RMA dept is from me. Sadly, they denied my request to drop it off to them. OH well, Ill be up and running by the end of this week.
