Stuck on Stock

Hey guys just a tech question for DOD. When I reinstalled it on my new computer all my maps besides stock ones disapeared and won't reload. Do I have to download all the maps off the internet or delete my map folder? Thanks

If you reinstalled on a new PC, the maps will not be there. Reinstalling from Steam does not copy map files.

Yeah, what Simon said is 100% correct. You will have to re-install the maps the way you did before.

I would get them through downloading them while loading the servers. It won't let me do that anymore, it just says map not available. Can't take part in most events because of this, just trying to figure out what I should do!

Yeah I hate when that happens. Just go to gamebanana.com. All the maps can be found there and throw them into your maps folder. You'll be all set

Yeah, just google the map including all the underscores. Pretty simple, just tedious.

Not really in particular more or less just trying to figure out the main problem. For the most part I'm playing stock maps anyways it's just some maps used in the event server. I'll just hop on gamebanana and download beforehand for next time! Thanks for the help guys really appreciate it.

Skipper I had this issue one time for some random reason. I learned that internet explorer is used through steam client to download the maps so try this fix and it might work.

edge-gamers event server should work, so this fix could be a good one. Few server have bad fast download server hosts so its on their side however.

Make sure downloading maps is not blocked in the Multiplayer options.
