*This Can or might Contain Spoilers if you have not played it yet or up to what some people have done so far*

Well I must say probably the best half life i've palyed so far very intense action like all off the half life's are. Right now I'm on the mission Under The Radar where you finally get to the White Forest base and now the combine are breaching the base and missle silos. one of my favorite parts so far is when you have to defend the tunnles with the two other rebels and two auto turrets in the mines from the antlions while the Vorgy heals Alyx and then the three orther Vorgies come and fight along side you

I want to see what you guys think of the game so far and I can't wait for Episode 3 !!!!

some cool pictures i took from ep 2 so far heres an animated gif of dog killing a strider i think i lowered it to a 32 bit so quality isnt great

I LOVED DOG FIGHTING A STRIDER!

I've beaten it once, working on it again with the commentary, and once I'm done with that I'm gonna work on the achievements.

Very, VERY good game.

I think there might be another gnome at the base that you throw into the rocket.

hmm i hope i can find it before the rocket lauches off i got to do some gnome hunting

sorry double post..

Just beat the game and WOW WOW WOW half life is the greatest I love IT so much I would marry IT !!!

the ending probably one of the best ive seen so far and i cannot wait for ep 3
( I also think we will be seeing the character from Portal and we will be going to beable to use portal gun as Gordan Freeman, because of seeing Dr.Kleiner talk about Aperature Science in the last mission and seeing their logo on the Belearis thingy. So we might either just meat the character or use the weapon. I hope both or one of the two)

Ya!

*Spoilers*

Here's what I'm thinking, I think the science facility you were in in Portal was the Borealis! I'd love to see Portala (made up name, can't remember the name they gave her) and GLaDOS (in android form) working together to either be your enemy or your friend.

Maybe you'll even find the portal gun and the things that break your falls!

lol . ive been so obsessed with tf2 that i have only beaten portal in 1 hr and played mothing else :)

...well, I just beat Episode Two. It was longer than Episode 1, more fun, more action packed, more impactful...well. Let me sum it up a different way.

Half-Life 2: Episode Two may very well be one of the greatest games I have ever played. Ever.

I didn't get Episode One until I preordered the Orange Box a few weeks ago, played it, thought it was great --- but a little too short and a little too cut and paste. I loved the ending and was looking forward very much, to episode two. Episode Two came out and not only is it one of if not the most beautiful game ever to use the Source engine, but damn was it INTENSE. I mean, VERY action packed, very stimulating, it's the sort of game that will knock you off your feet and make you go "...wow. ...this...this is what a game should be like." It was like a movie, a DAMN GOOD movie. I love it when a game is willing to go the extra mile, Half-Life/2, the whole series goes that extra mile and makes it all very in-depth, and sometimes even emotionally involved.

So happy with the game I may very well beat it again as soon as I can. And I can't wait for Episode 3.

didnt had time to play after i passed the antlion attack in the mines. will do it this weekend though

I almost mouth vomited while walking through the bloody pools in the ant lion nest - that sound makes me retch lol.

Great stuff though, very good.

How could you get bored in HL2? Sure, there is about 20 minutes or so of exposition in the beginning of Half Life 2, but then the action hits and it is unbelievable.

Where did you find the gnomes?

I love the part where Dr.Whatshisname says "The weight of the rocket seems to be off about 8.5 lbs" LOL...did anyone else notice his headcrab pet (name?) climb into the rocket? LOL...

BIG SPOILER

The ending was so sad! She was just being told by her father how proud her dead mother would be of her. :-(

right in the beginning where you first get video contact with Eli, Kleiner and Magnusson after that the door opens behind you to your right is a bunk bed... under it is a gnome

I loved it. Episode 1 disappointed me because it lacked plot and character, Episode 2 did so much better. The plot was simple, but elegantly told with character and humour. I loved almost every inch except the early bits; I HATE insects; and making the grubs/acid antlions more insect like than the regular antlions pissed me off. My favourite bits were with the gman, I never really saw him as a villain before, and the kick to the head when you first connect his words to the Aperture Science experiment is brilliant. I cannot WAIT for Episode 3, after the ending of Episode 2 I am just wriggling with anticipation. I know that they had cliffhangers in the other games, but this one was a lot less annoying and a bit more dramatic. I also like how they showed bits of events from Episode 1 in the beginning, it's useless, but cool.
