So I'm not sure where to post this but I was just looking at the gameme system and since I am pretty competitive, I tend to check who's ahead of me. So I've been following this rainbow dude who's a rank higher than me and now looking at his profile, today he gained 654 points (which is pretty impossible... considering he's in the 30s) and I've been playing pretty much all day today and haven't seen him on dust2 AT ALL!!

It would make sense if he played in the early morning (12AM-7AM) but this morning I checked his standing and he was in 34. So he must've played sometime between morning and now but I've been playing on dust2 all day and haven't seen him.

Edit: If you look at the points graph on his profile, you'll see this is the highest points he has accrued in a day. And obviously as I have stated, this is ridiculously hard when you're in top 50 because you get so little points for 1 kill but you lose quite a good amount when you die.

Here's his profile. http://edgegamers.gameme.com/playerinfo/1039143

What's going on? :confused1:

Maybe you weren't looking hard enough. It shows that he has played quite a lot today, about 6 hours.

Spark here is number one and gains like 100 points per session.

Where does it say that? (noob question)

It'd make sense if he did play some hours in early morning but this morning when I checked his ranking, he was 34th with 17k270 points (something like that). I was on dust2 all day and didn't see him at all and now his score just skyrocketed.

I understand, but he's not spark. His previous scores show that he doesn't consistently gain this much amount of points. Highest was when he first started out, which is 464 points. An additional 200 point when he's in the 30 is ridiculously out of his league.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm undermining your posts/opinions, but it is a bit strange.. to me at least. Maybe I'm just making a big fuss out of nothing, I'll just keep track of his scores and games over next few days I guess. :)

In the sessions tab it shows he played 6 hours. In the events tab it shows what time he did things like kill enemies, die, or disconnect.

I also lose points as well, a lot actually. Depends on the day.

You plant the bomb a bajillion times and get a lot of points.
That's what I do anyway..

Wasn't that hard for me to accumulate 700+ points when I was #30ish.

Just planted bombs, got kills, and didn't die possibly.

i played on dust2 yesterday for about an hour or so and gained 129 pts i think. and i wasn't even doing that well and i was on T...so if i can do that im sure he can gain that much.
