Windows Update..

My Windows update will not do anything..I try the express search and I get this message...the error code is 0x80244019...I cant download Service pack 2 or 3 by doing manual download either...I need to get this fixed so I can download CEVO client,,Please help!

I did some searching and found a few steps you can follow that should fix it.

Run Fix It on this page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949104
Turn off your anti-virus before you start getting the pack
After the SP update is down, you should enabled your anti-virus again

On the thing I read, they also recommend to make mirror image backups (everyone recommends that lol) frequently.

If that doesn't work, try this:

1. Upgrade to IE 8.
   
2. Download Windows Update Agent.
   
3. Save the download to your C drive.
   
4. Click Start, and then click Run.
   
5. Type C:\WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe /wuforce and then click OK, install WU agent.
   
6. Restart the PC and try to update.

You will only usually see that if your browser is outdated. Such as when you first install XP with a service pack 2 disk that comes with IE6. As Ric mentioned above, manually download IE8 and install that version. Once you've installed IE8 you should be able to use the built in windows update feature and access updates as usual. You will most likely have to pay attention to the pop up blocker at the top of the IE window and install or run the active x plugin that windows updates wants to use so you can access the updates.

+1 XP will soon lose its Microsoft support, no more updates.. it is coming, upgrade as soon as possible.
