I'd have to go with windows 7. I mean XP was awesome but the few additions in windows 7 made it slightly better

I actually never had any beef with Vista. Was a fine OS for me.

My personal favorite OS would have to be WIN 8 I love it and as a DEV it is very use full in creating apps for WIN 8.
